Last night the boys wanted to take Elfie and Chippie, our Elves on the Shelf to bed with them.
Our naughty elves got the boys shoes out last night and lined them up like a train and then sat in them with some of the boys toys.
Our elves have been up to no good last night and have eaten some of the chocolates out of the wife’s advent calendar!
As mentioned two days ago, Elfie and his new friend Chippie didn’t return to our home after a day of extraordinary bad behaviour from both boys.
Our Elf on the Shelf is back and he has brought a friend, we will bring you more on the new elf as and when we have it, name etc!
The boys were ecstatic to see him and literally squealed with delight at seeing his house (a post on how to make your own coming soon).

We recently asked parent bloggers what their favourite Christmas Advert of 2017 was.
The choice was between any Christmas advert for a company that has aired this year be it for the first, like the new John Lewis one, a continuation of a story as in Kevin the Carrot who features in the Aldi ads or an old classic in the form of Holidays Are Coming (Coca Cola).
To be honest the results did surprise us a bit, however that’s what makes this countdown interesting.
Following on from his journey in the car for our holiday at Bluestone Wales yesterday, Elfie decided to host an Elf Holiday Breakfast along with his Elf friends.
Elfie is going on a road trip, where will he end up???
As I mentioned last week I will be using the last few Sunday’s of 2017 to take a journey back through this year and look at the happy and exciting moments that have occurred during what has been an extremely stressful year.
This week we’ve travelled to Greece.
I have blogged before about being lucky enough have family living in Athens and that we are able to go out and see them semi regularly. This last summer we flew out for two weeks of Greek summer sun staying part of the time in Athens and also spending some of our time in the Greek Countryside, around a 2 hour drive outside of Athens.
The above photo was taken on a working farm that also is open to people taking holidays there.
The first evening we got there the boys and their cousins were feeding the horses that were near our accommodation when my brother in law noticed that a sprinkler has started up, before we knew it the whole field between us and the rooms was awash with water being sprayed from a field of sprinklers. We made a dash back to dry land however the kids decided to would be better fun to run around like nutters in it.
The above photo was taken whilst the boys were having the time of their lives, I had noticed that due to the height of the sprinklers sprayed the water some had begun to form rainbows. I decided that I was going to try and capture one of these and this picture is the result.
Tonight’s elf on the shelf idea comes from Oliver. When visiting Marsh Farm today during their Christmas Experience they had a show all about a polar bear and snow. The children had to use their magic wands to make it snow. Afterwards Oliver full of excitement exclaimed ” I bet Elfie can make it snow it home” so that’s just what he has done…
